 research

The aim of the group research and development is devoted to understanding the relationship between the compositions of polymer blends, product preparation and achieved structural parameters. Rheological properties, various process parameters in the specific technologically relevant range (temperature, pressure, flow velocity, etc.) and final product properties (mechanical, adhesion, barrier properties) are interconnected.

research

The research in the group is aimed to study materials surfaces, their preparation and modification; it is focused on the study and application of the relationship between the substrate and deposited layer, parameters of the deposition process, as well as the preparation and study into thin films of polymer materials and self-supporting foils. An integral part of the work is the study into and application of plasma deposition and plasma treatment of surfaces and also the design of the original laboratory equipment.

Rubber processing and materials

research

The subject of the research group interest is the comprehensive study into processing, production and characterization of rubber for the broad understanding and theoretical as well as analytical description of the structural relationship of fracture mechanics depending on mechanical and physical degradation processes.
