In accordance with the Bursar’s Directive SK/10/2026 Implementation of a Project Financially Supported by the Operational Programme Johannes Amos Comenius – Support for Enhancing the Career Development of High-Potential Researchers After a Career Break, and University Institute (UNI) Director’s directive SŘ/03/2026 Principles of the Return Grants Competition at the University Institute Funded by OP JAC, the Director of the UNI announces the RETURN GRANT COMPETITION AT THE UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE FUNDED BY OP JAK.

All conditions and requirements for submitting a proposal are specified in the Call Documentation (see below).

Deadlines

The call for applications is continuous, with submissions accepted from 15 June 2026 until 31 March 2028.

Earliest possible project start date: 1 September 2026

Duration of the Return Grant project: minimum 12 months

Grant Focus

The topic of the Return Grant must be aligned with one of the CPS research directions.

Eligible Applicants

PhD students, research and academic staff returning after a career break (applicants do not have to be employed by TBU at the time of application).
