CPS was visited by entrepreneurs from the Inovato Cluster

15.05.2022

Members of the Inovato Cluster visited the Centre for Polymer Systems on 12 May 2022. Inovato is an association of companies and organisations that have come together to seek synergies and develop innovations and innovation projects.

The role of the Cluster is to work with a wide range of actors to develop an innovation ecosystem based on shared values. "We cooperate in the fields of engineering, microelectronics, start-up development, digitisation, social entrepreneurship and the circular economy," says prof. Ján Košturiak, President of the Cluster. Tomas Bata University in Zlín became a member of this network as well. "Cooperation with the field is extremely important to us, especially in the area of contract research. We offer a range of services that companies from the region and beyond can use," explains TBU Rector and CPS Director prof. Vladimír Sedlařík.
During the visit to the University, both parties sought opportunities for cooperation, especially with the faculties (FME, FAI and FMC) as well as CPS. "The planned activities will relate, for example, to education in the field of the Bata management system, marketing communication and industrial design or digital systems and intelligent solutions in the energy and logistics sector," added prof. Vladimír Sedlařík. The meeting was followed by an introduction of the CPS and a tour of the laboratories.
