CPS welcomed PIONEER Alliance delegates
On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, selected participants of the international PIONEER Alliance meeting, hosted by Tomas Bata University in Zlín, visited the Centre of Polymer Systems. The event brought together more than 50 representatives from partner universities and institutions.
Among the guests who visited CPS were:
- Lizanne Richle – Bern University of Applied Sciences
- Dr.arch.ir. Michiel Smits – Avans University of Applied Sciences
- Valle Casado Maestre – City Council of Huelva
Following an introductory presentation of CPS, which highlighted its research activities in biocomposites, sustainable materials, and their applications in agriculture, the guests took part in a guided tour of the centre. They had the opportunity to explore the research infrastructure and discuss potential avenues for future collaboration.
During the visit, discussions were held regarding the involvement of CPS in international project schemes, and an invitation was extended to visit Bern University of Applied Sciences, focusing on sustainable material processing.
CPS, along with the entire UTB, values the opportunity to actively contribute to the development of cooperation within the PIONEER Alliance and looks forward to further joint steps in research, education, and innovation.
