TIre-Wear and emission of Particles

On 14 September, the second webinar in a row organized by CPS on the topic "Influencing Lifetime of Rubber" took place, this time with the subtitle "TIre-Wear and emission of Particles". The emission of tire particles into various environmental compartments is a pressing global issue, as every day around 11,000 tonnes of tire abrasion particles are generated worldwide and encrust into various environmental compartments. Three lectures were given on this topic by Prof. Giere from the University of Pennsylvania, USA, Prof. Heinrich from the University of Dresden, Germany and Assoc. Prof. Radek Stoček from our Center of Polymer Systems. 150 participants from 13 countries registered for the webinar.
