Centre’s Structure

The chief decision-making body of the Centre, the Board has 7 members. They include officials of public authorities, research, application sector and the financial sector; a reasonable number of members are from abroad.
Activities
The Board approves sub-projects and may make technical and technical updates to sub-projects
Meets at least once every six months
Manages the activities of the Centre, determines the conceptual and strategic direction of the Centre
Takes key decisions regarding the operation of the Centre
Oversees in particular the implementation of the strategic research agenda and collaboration with the application sector Information on the activities of the Centre’s Board will be included annually in the interim/final technical report of the project

Activities
Monitor the activities of the Centre’s Board May propose the removal of a member of the Centre’s Board
Propose a new member of the Centre’s Board if a member of the Board has been removed or resigned from office
Meet at least four times a year
(a) Submit proposals and recommendations to the Centre’s Board
– Changes to staffing
– Changes to the consortium’s membership
– Changes to the Centre’s management structure
– Updates and changes to the strategic research agenda
– Acceptance of sub-projects
– Corrective actions against researchers in sub-projects who fail to fulfil their obligations
– Transparent transformation of the Centre’s research results towards potential commercial users
(b) Discuss reports on the use of funds and the Centre’s financial management
(c) Discuss annual documents which are subsequently submitted to the Centre’s Board
